Joel Ducoste, professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University, has been named as the associate dean for faculty advancement in NC State’s College of Engineering.

CCEE professor Dr. Joel Ducoste has been named NC State College of Engineering associate dean for faculty advancement, effective July 1. Ducoste has served as interim associate dean for faculty advancement for the past two years.

Grant honored with two national awards

Dr. Christine Grant was recently honored with two national awards: the William W. Grimes Award for Excellence in Chemical Engineering from the AIChE Minority Affairs Committee and the Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Award for Excellence in Chemical Engineering from the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.
