Five engineering faculty members receive CAREER Awards

Five members of the faculty of the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University have received Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2022. The award is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty members in science and engineering.

Barnes receives NCWIT Research and Mentoring Award

The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) has named Dr. Tiffany Barnes, Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at NC State University, the recipient of the 2022 Harrold and Notkin Research and Graduate Mentoring Award.

College honors four with Outstanding Senior Awards

Four seniors in the College of Engineering received 2022 Outstanding Senior Awards for their exceptional contributions to NC State and beyond in Citizenship and Service, Humanities, Leadership and Scholarly Achievement. Winners received their awards during a special ceremony held at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library on NC State’s Centennial Campus on April 26.
