License plate sales help reward faculty

Faculty who excel in the classroom, laboratory and in the field do not go unnoticed by the Alumni Association. Since 1968, we’ve been recognizing top-flight faculty with stipends that today range from $1,000 to $4,000. This year, we awarded 24 faculty members a total of $70,000. Nominations were made by deans, department heads, peers and students.
