Martin-Vega named AAAS Fellow

Dr. Louis A. Martin-Vega, dean of the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest scientific society and publisher of journal science.

NASA engineer, leader to give NC State fall commencement speech

NC State grads will draw inspiration from commencement speaker Christine Mann Darden, an internationally recognized researcher whose work is fueling the development of supersonic jets. In August 2017, Darden visited the College of Engineering to deliver the annual Welcome for Engineering First-Year Students and give a technical seminar on sonic boom minimization.

Kim receives 2018 RJ Reynolds Award

Dr. Youngsoo “Richard” Kim, Jimmy D. Clark Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) at North Carolina State University, is the thirty-fourth recipient of the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research and Extension.
