From the board

The NC State Engineering Foundation (NCSEF) was established in 1944 to aid and promote, by financial assistance and otherwise, engineering education and research at NC State. A board of directors composed of alumni and friends of the College of Engineering works with the College’s advancement staff and dean to set the Foundation’s agenda.

Better than he found it

Martin-Vega leaves strong legacy for NC State Engineering.

Three receive Distinguished Engineering Alumnus award

Three College of Engineering alumni — Quint M. Barefoot, Dan M. Pleasant and Mark D. Wyatt — received the Distinguished Engineering Alumnus (DEA) award during a dinner and ceremony on campus on Nov. 2, 2022, as part of Red and White Week.

Inaugural COE Key Volunteers Day results in ways to advance NC State Engineering

Community and fellowship are the cornerstone of any successful volunteer strategy. In November, as part of Red and White Week, volunteer leaders from throughout the College of Engineering (COE) gathered to discuss strategies, share ideas and get to know each other better.

Saul inducted into Brown Athletics Hall of Fame

Last fall, Saul and her teammates were inducted into the Brown Athletics Hall of Fame for their 1999 and 2000 NCAA national championships. Women’s rowing was designated an NCAA sport in 1997, and Brown’s team has been to every NCAA championship.
