Dr. Carl Zorowski, Reynolds Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), was the recipient of the College’s inaugural Faculty Distinguished Service Award.

CASL renewal will drive research across the College

Funding for the Consortium for the Advanced Simulation of Light Water Reactors (CASL), an Energy Innovation Hub that includes work by NC State’s Colleges of Engineering and Science, has been renewed by the U.S. Department of Energy for an additional five years and $121.5 million.

College prepares next step in move to Centennial

The College of Engineering made its first move toward a new home on Centennial Campus in 2004, with the opening of Engineering Building I. Engineering Building II opened in 2005 and Engineering Building III in 2010. Now, the College is prepared to take the next step toward a home on Centennial with the construction of the Engineering Oval building.
