Grant honored with two national awards
Dr. Christine Grant was recently honored with two national awards: the William W. Grimes Award for Excellence in Chemical Engineering from the AIChE Minority Affairs Committee and the Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Award for Excellence in Chemical Engineering from the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.
Hall named AAAS Fellow
Dr. Carol Hall, Camille Dreyfus Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest scientific society and publisher of journal science.
Wei receives NSF CAREER Award
Dr. Qingshan Wei, assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and faculty member in the Emerging Plant Disease and Food Security Cluster at North Carolina State University, has received a Faculty Early Career Development award, also known as the CAREER Award, from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
