Podcast: Sanitation (or, what do we do with all this poop?)

Did you know that, globally, 1.92 billion people lack access to home toilets? And that even in the U.S. over 2 million lack that access?

So what do we do about all that poop?

Francis de los Reyes is a professor of civil, construction and environmental engineering here at NC State, and he is passionate about sanitation.

He joins Audio Abstract to discuss the challenges involved in improving sanitation practices both at home and abroad.

Note for the squeamish – we talk about poop in this one. Like, a lot.
