NC State’s Engineering Career Fair brings together top companies, job seekers

Engineering Career Fair CrowdThe NC State Engineering Career Fair, one of the two largest engineering career fairs in the United States, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 30 and Wednesday, Oct. 1 at the McKimmon Center on NC State’s campus.

The biannual event draws thousands of participants seeking full-time positions, co-op opportunities and internships. Along with NC State students, the career fair routinely sees students travel from as far away as New York and Texas to attend.

A record 372 companies in fields ranging from software development, energy, healthcare and construction to manufacturing and finance are registered to participate.

The Engineering Career Fair provides a unique opportunity to find representatives of leading companies and the most qualified student job applicants in the fields these companies are seeking.

The event is open to the public and is free of charge.

Date and time: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 and Wednesday, Oct. 1

Location: The Jane S. McKimmon Center at 1101 Gorman Street on the NC State campus in Raleigh.

Parking: Parking is available at The McKimmon Center and at Vaughn Towers at Carter-Finley Stadium with shuttle service to and from the event via the Yellow Line. Check http://coe.transloc.com to track the shuttle buses.
