Giant Engineering Career Fair set for Feb. 2 at NC State

What: The College of Engineering at North Carolina State University holds its bi-annual Career Fair. The event, now in its 15th year, is one of the largest career fairs in the nation for engineering students. Media coverage is invited.

Who: The Engineering Career Fair connects thousands of engineering students and other job seekers with employers in a variety of industries. About 200 companies and government agencies looking to fill jobs and internships are scheduled to attend. Previous career fairs have attracted students from colleges across North Carolina and from as far away as Florida, New York and Texas.

When: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Where: The McKimmon Center at 1101 Gorman Street on the NC State campus in Raleigh. Parking is available at the McKimmon Center, and shuttle buses connecting the fair to the Dunn Avenue entrance of Reynolds Coliseum and the Partners Way bus stop on Centennial Campus will run from 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cost: The event is free for job seekers.
