The College of Engineering is in large part defined by its alumni, nearly 50,000 strong, who make an impact out in the world every day. Our alumni also have a long history of making an impact here on the College, and on the important work that gets done by our students and faculty. Many NC State Engineering alumni invest their time in the College through many activities such as mentoring students, hosting student recruiting events and volunteering at other events.

Distinguished Engineering Alumni (DEA) Award

Each year since 1966, the College has awarded the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award to honor the outstanding achievements of its engineering graduates. The roster of past recipients represents a high level of distinction and a dynamic and diverse set of leadership and engineering achievements.
