While at NC State, I have completed Alternative Spring Breaks in Orlando, Fla., with Give Kids the World and in Antigua, Guatemala, with a pediatric malnutrition hospital. Sophomore year I was the founding vice president of Give Kids the World @ NC State. After my freshman year I was a home health aid at Around the Clock Nursing, and this summer I will be working in the pediatric oncology department at Lehigh Valley Hospital. On campus I am also involved with scholars and was the administrative mentor in the Engineering Village my sophomore year. I also briefly did research in the psychology department and the biology department.
