NC State expands partnership with Nagoya University

Nagoya University will establish a U.S. campus on NC State's Centennial Campus — Nagoya University Global Campus — thanks to a new agreement that strengthens the partnership between the two institutions. The agreement will establish new dual-degree programs, large-scale student exchanges, joint faculty research with industry partners, and global internships for students from both institutions.

Esports for the Pack

In 2021 and 2022, NC State received $12 million from the North Carolina General Assembly to build an on-campus esports arena and $4 million to develop a mobile arena truck that brings esports competitions and activities to other parts of the state.

Rapid Shape selects Centennial Campus for North American headquarters

Rapid Shape, a German company that develops and manufactures high-end 3D printing systems, has opened its North American headquarters on NC State’s Centennial Campus. NC State expands exchanges with Saudi Arabia

What started as a research collaboration between two computer science scholars nearly 10 years ago is now the foundation for a series of research and academic exchanges between NC State University and King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Professor George Rouskas, director of graduate programs for NC State’s Department of Computer Science, has already co-authored 14 publications with Dean Iyad Katib, who heads KAU’s Faculty of Computer and Information Technology.
