Nathan Crook receives NSF CAREER Award

Professor Nathan Crook has received a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award for his proposal, “Enhancing Probiotic Yeast Colonization for Stable in Situ Biomanufacturing.” The NSF describes CAREER awards as among its “… most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.”

Cabas Mijares receives NSF CAREER Award

Ashly Cabas Mijares, assistant professor in NC State’s Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, has received a Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty members in science and engineering.

Reaves receives NSF CAREER Award

Bradley Reaves, assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University, has received a Faculty Early Career Development award, also known as the CAREER Award, from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty members in science and engineering.
