Yang elevated to IEEE senior member

Dr. Ge Yang, associate professor of nuclear engineering at NC State University, attained senior membership within the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Senior Member is the highest professional grade of IEEE for which application may be made.

Huang elevated to IEEE Fellow

Helen Huang was recently selected as an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Fellow for the Class of 2023. Huang was elevated to Fellow for her contributions in control development in rehabilitation robotics.

Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NC State University, Dr. Hao Su, has been appointed as an editor for one of the most respected journals in the field of robotics.

Trew and former students awarded Microwave Pioneer Award

Dr. Robert Trew, the Alton and Mildred Lancaster Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University, and two of his former PhD students will receive the 2014 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Microwave Theory and Techniques Society Pioneer Award.
