Fulbright scholars head to Rwanda

The Fulbright program provides approximately 8,000 scholarships annually for graduate study, to conduct research or to teach English abroad. This year, 11 NC State students were awarded 2023 Fulbright Scholarships, a new record.

College mourns the loss of Edgar S. Woolard

Edgar S. Woolard Jr., a renowned business leader and loyal and involved alumnus of North Carolina State University, died on Dec. 4, 2023, at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He was 89.

When Sammi Eason started at the College of Engineering four and a half years ago, she knew she wanted to find a career path that combined industrial and systems engineering, her major, with theater, her minor.
