Scheer wins 2022 SHRA Biomedical Engineering Award for Excellence

BME’s NC State Administrative Support Specialist Andi Scheer is the Biomedical Engineering SHRA winner of the 2022 Awards for Excellence. Andi’s recognition as the BME SHRA Awards for Excellence recipient was announced at a virtual ceremony held May 4. 2022. This award recognizes the outstanding accomplishments and contributions of individual BME employees, who do not hold faculty rank, and who go above and beyond an employee’s normal job responsibilities.  Awards are given to SHRA and EHRA non-faculty employees who carry out a wide range of activities in support of BME’s mission.

Andi’s selection for this year’s BME SHRA award was based on her excellence in performing the varied scope or her roles as receptionist, bookkeeper, human resource administration, student services, and morale officer! Congratulations Andi on this well deserved honor and thank you for your exceptional service to the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering!
