2021 chancellor’s fall address

Randy Woodson delivers the annual fall address during Red and White week in 2019 in the Talley Student Union.

Chancellor Randy Woodson will give his annual fall address to the NC State community on Monday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. For the first time since 2019, the speech will be delivered live and in person from the floor of Talley Student Union. It will also be streamed online.

In this year’s address, the chancellor is expected to begin by acknowledging the ongoing, campuswide efforts that have made events like this possible. His remarks will highlight the success of individual students, staff and faculty members in the past 12 months; touch upon some exciting announcements for NC State’s future; and reflect upon the university’s enduring purpose.

The fall address also marks the beginning of this year’s Red and White Week, our annual homecoming celebration of all things NC State.

The entire campus community is invited to join the chancellor at this year’s address, so mark your calendar.

And yes, there will be Howling Cow ice cream.
