Madison Maloney aspires to follow friend and mentor Christina Hammock Koch into space. Thanks to a prestigious Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, the NC State senior begins graduate studies in astronautics at Stanford this fall.

Amoah receives first place for presentation at FOM Workshop

On January 29, ORaCEL (Organic and Carbon Electronics Labs) at NC State University held the Future of Materials Workshop at Talley Student Union on NC State’s campus. The aim of the workshop was to “address the grand challenges facing the next generation of functional materials by fostering collaborative activities that harness a wide-range of research tools and intellectual resources within the Research Triangle area.”

NC State College of Engineering alumnus Craig Lewis Cloud, who has had a decades-long career in foreign affairs, has been named the U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Botswana.
