Centennial Campus parking affected by Dreamville Festival April 6

Stop sign on Centennial Campus

On Saturday, April 6, parking on Centennial Campus will be affected by the rapper J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival at Dorothea Dix Park in downtown Raleigh.

Several lots will remain open to students, faculty and staff that day: MRC Deck, Poulton Deck, RC Lot and Wolf Ridge. Students and faculty and staff members will need to show their NC State ID to park at these locations, and it is recommended they enter campus through Main Campus Drive at Trailwood Drive. Wolfline buses will be running altered routes to Centennial throughout the day.

The following lots are closed to the public and open at 10 a.m. for festival parking: Capability Drive Lot South, Capability Drive Lot North, Partners II Surface Lots, Toxicology Lot, Partners Way Deck, Oval West Deck, Oval Drive Onstreet, Venture Parking Deck and Alliance Parking Deck. Festival attendees can access these parking lots via Varsity Drive, Oval Drive and Achievement Drive.

Centennial is one of three parking locations for the festival, which is expected to draw more than 35,000 people. There will be designated walking routes from campus to the festival.

Dreamville is a hip-hop music festival featuring more than 20 artists on two stages. J. Cole is a Grammy-nominated artist and Fayetteville native who currently lives in Raleigh.
