BAE student selected for ACC Fellowship Program

Carrie Sanford, a student in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering (BAE), was selected for the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Consortium (ACC AC) Fellows Program in Creativity and Innovation. 

The first layer focuses the incoming sound waves onto a second layer placed behind it, which then sends the sound waves back to their source. The device works by stacking SPI (left) on top of SPII (right).

With the signing of the Charles W. Suggs Distinguished Professorship in Biological and Agricultural Engineering Endowment, Dr. Suggs and his wife, Jane, created a named endowed professorship in the department.
