The College of Engineering at North Carolina State University will host the 2019 American Society for Engineering Education Southeastern (ASEE-SE) Conference. The ASEE-SE Conference will take place March 10-12, 2019 on NC State’s Centennial campus.

The theme for the 2019 meeting is, “Educating Tomorrow’s Engineering Entrepreneur,” with the workshops and topics focusing on teamwork, resilience, ethics, knowledge, and diversity. The conference will include workshops, presentations, and papers from professionals in the field and from students.

The event is being organized by Dr. Anna Howard, teaching associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and conference site coordinator.

“I am completely thrilled to bring this conference to NC State. We have an incredible team of people working on all aspects of what I expect to be a fantastic conference, showing off all the highlights of NC State teaching, research, facilities and general exceptionalism,” said Howard.

A call for participation for papers, posters, and workshops has been made. Information on due dates and guidelines can be found at: http://se.asee.org/Conference/Default.htm. Conference information, lodging, and travel can be found at: https://events.reporter.ncsu.edu/asee/.
