College of Engineering students place at Annual Graduate Research Symposium

Four graduate students in the College of Engineering and the affiliated Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at NC State University were recognized as best presenters at the University’s 13th Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium on March 21.

Garcia Menendez receives NSF CAREER Award

Dr. Fernando Garcia Menendez, assistant professor in the department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University, has received a Faculty Early Career Development award, also known as the CAREER Award, from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty members in science and engineering.
