Starling discusses new summer camp for visually impaired and blind teenagers on ACB Radio Mainstream

Leyf Starling, program coordinator for The Engineering Place in the College of Engineering at NC State, was interviewed this week by Brian McCallen, producer and host of Speaking Out for the Blind, an American Council of the Blind (ACB) Radio Mainstream show. In the interview, Starling discusses The Engineering Place’s new summer camp program for visually impaired and blind teenagers (VIB). Twelve to 15 VIB high school students will have an opportunity to explore engineering through hands-on activities during a week-long residential camp this summer.
