Hesham Rakha is the Samuel Reynolds Pritchard Professor of Engineering in the The Charles E. Via, Jr. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech, a courtesy professor in the university’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the director of the Center for Sustainable Mobility at VTTI. Dr. Rakha is giving a presentation on various ethical AI issues associated with connected automated vehicles (CAVs) on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. in 216 Daniels Hall.  The name of the presentation is “Ethical AI in the Context of Connected Automated Vehicles.”
