NC State / Non-NC State Student Entry Information

Enrolled NC State students and NC State Alum are able to enter the Engineering Career Fair beginning at 9:30 AM.  Please have your student ID or your student ID number ready and available at check-in as it is required. Non-NC State students will be in a line that enters at 10:30 am.

No Backpacks!

Backpacks are prohibited at the McKimmon Center.

The NC State Engineering Career Fair will be held at the McKimmon Center (map) and is open and free for students, alumni and visitors. Students may attend anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. NC State Engineering Career Fair shuttle buses run every 10 minutes.

Please dress professionally and bring your NC State Student ID and multiple copies of your resume. Your Student ID will expedite registration!

Getting Prepared

You are strongly encouraged to seek out and take advantage of the many resources available to engineering students through the Career Development Center.

Please dress professionally. Bring your student ID and multiple copies of your resume!

    Know what to do before, during and after the fair to maximize your success.
  • ePACK
    Set up your ePACK account before the fair. Employers use ePACK to post internships, entry-level jobs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews associated with the fair.
  • Co-op Orientation
    Attend a co-op orientation beforehand so that you are prepared to discuss co-op opportunities with companies at the fair.
  • Career Guide
    Refer to this indispensable resource — a student favorite — to view the 4-year career plan, sample resumes, interview guidelines and tips for success on the job.
  • Talk to the Career Center’s Professional Staff.


Take the shuttle and remember that backpacks are prohibited at the McKimmon Center.

Parking is for Employers only at the McKimmon Center.

We provide transportation to and from the NC State Engineering Career Fair all day. Service is from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Engineering Career Fair Shuttle pickups are:

  • Main Campus (Coliseum Deck Surface lot)
  • Centennial Campus (EB II Oval)
  • Carter Finley (free public parking — pick up is at Carter Finley Gate B).

Wolfine runs all day and is free for the public

Additionally, Wolfline has routes, including accessible transportation with stops at or near the McKimmon Center.
