Students will be able to participate in the virtual fair through the Career Fair Plus platform.

Additional details regarding when virtual appointments can be scheduled will be shared soon.

2025-26 ASCEND Career Fair (formerly known as DNN) hosted by the ASCEND Program

Companies must be registered for the Engineering Career Fair in order to attend the ASCEND Career Fair.

Company registration is open for our Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 events.

Important Notes for 2025-26 Engineering Career Fairs

The Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Engineering Career Fairs are in-person ONLY.

  • Name Badge Policy for Employers
    • Employers must wear a name badge at all times during the event.
    • Name badges will be issued upon check-in.
  • Payment Deadlines
    • Fall 2025 – Due Friday, August 8, 2025
    • Spring 2026 – Due Friday, December 19, 2025
  • After Registration
    • Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. 
    • Registrations not paid by the provided deadlines will be automatically cancelled.

If you are registered and need to cancel, please review our cancellation policy. Refunds are not available. However, cancellations made 30 days or more before the Engineering Career Fair may receive credit toward a future fair within one year. To apply the credit, register online and then email engineeringcareerfair-ncstate@ncsu.edu.

How to Pay Online

After Registration:  Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.  If no payment is received 40 days prior to the event, registration will be cancelled.  You may via credit card using the link on your invoice.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be submitted via email to engineeringcareerfair-ncstate@ncsu.edu at least 30 days before the event to receive credit. Approved credits may be applied to one of the next two Engineering Career Fairs within 12 months.

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for credit and remain responsible for full payment of the invoice.

Is the engineering career fair a hybrid event?

No, it is in-person only.

In-Person Event Details

  • The NC State Engineering Career Fair will be held at the McKimmon Center.
  • Staggered Entry: NC State students and alum may enter at 9:30 am. Non-NC State students may enter at 10:30 am.
  • Registered participating companies receive a designated booth, meals, and a shared common room for interviewing during the fair.
  • Check-in begins at 7:15 a.m.
  • Parking is FREE FOR EMPLOYERS ONLYbut limited. Parking pass required!

What platform is used for the ECF event?

Can I use Career Fair Plus as web-based or in the app?

Yes. The website is available for viewing participating companies online or by downloading and using the app.

How will interviews with candidates I select be set up?

Interviews after the Engineering Career Fair are coordinated by the Career Development Center. If you are interested in having a space for post-fair interviews, please indicate on the registration form and you will be contacted. Many employers make this request so space is limited. What parking is available at the Career Fair?

Parking for is for employers only at the McKimmon Center. Employers, please display the parking pass you received via email.
