The Engineering Online program consistently ranks in the top 10 engineering online master's degrees in US News and World Report.
Engineering Online, the College’s distance education program, features:

- Programs designed with working professionals in mind
- Content and academic rigor identical to on-campus courses
- Homework submitted electronically, exams proctored locally
Engineering Online now offers 16 master’s degrees , three graduate certificates and an undergraduate certificate in computer programming. They also offer distance courses for two site-based bachelor’s degrees for undergraduates attending partner institutions: Mechanical Engineering Systems in Havelock, N.C. and Mechatronics in Asheville, N.C.
