Honors and Scholars
The College of Engineering at NC State University has a wealth of opportunities for highly motivated and scholarly driven students to pursue. Students interested in pursuing a joint degree from the College of Engineering and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences may become a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. Those scholar students interested in research within or around engineering-related principles should consider pursuing the honors programs in their departments or University Honors programs. For those students interested in an academic challenge that integrates significant extracurricular activities may consider applying for the University Scholars Program.
