Boeing Aerospace Engineering Workshop

This program, proudly sponsored by the Boeing Company, offers students the opportunity to learn about aeronautics, mechanical systems and electronic controls.  Classroom work and wind tunnel experiments will be utilized to teach the basic principles of mechanical and aerospace engineering.  Working with faculty and current engineering students, each participant will apply these basic principles to construct and program a model airplane, which they will fly at a local field and take home at the end of the week.  Other activities will include field trips to RDU airport and other flying fields for interaction with model airplane club members.
