Meet the Industrial & Systems Engineering Workshop Staff

 

Ola Harrysson  Dr. Harrysson joined the ISE department in January 2002 and is teaching classes related to manufacturing and rapid prototyping. Most of his research involves rapid prototyping, specifically the medical applications of rapid prototyping.  His areas of interest include rapid biomedical implants, reverse engineering, and robotics and automation in surgery applications. He received his Bachelor's degree from Dala University in Sweden and his Master's and Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida.

  Jason Low is a lecturer in the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and has been a member of the ISE Department since 1997, when he joined the program as a Research Assistant.  He has conducted and advised research in areas of machining, non-traditional processes and manufacturing systems.  Jason now teaches the Manufacturing Engineering Practicum (ISE216) and Automation (ISE416) manufacturing courses.  He has been involved in the programmatic efforts of the Integrated Manufacturing and Systems Engineering Institute, the Furniture Manufacturing and Management Center, and the Wood Machining, Tooling and Research Program.

Previously, Jason worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation and served three co-op terms during his undergraduate studies for Data General Corporation, both in his native state of Maine.  He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Maine and his Master's from NC State.

 

Debbie Allgood-Staton is the Adminstrative Manager for the Fitts Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering.
