Engineering Alumni Came for Food, Fun & Football at Engineering Tailgate '96 Despite Ravages of Hurricane Fran

Approximately 800 College of Engineering alumni, faculty, students, staff, and friends attended the annual College of Engineering Tailgate '96.

Alumni feasted on barbecue and all the fixin's on the Carter-Finley Stadium grounds, met the new Dean, Dr. Nino Masnari, and socialized with faculty, students, and fellow alumni.

We were lucky the event took place at all since our caterer cancelled at the last minute due to the hurricane. Fortunately we were able to line up a new caterer to cover the event.

Our thanks go to those 800 who turned out for this festive event in spite of the hurdles created by Hurricane Fran.

We hope we'll see all of you NEXT year for Tailgate '97!
