Parents and Families of Incoming Engineering Students Enjoy Parents’ Reception

Receptions for parents of incoming freshmen were held July 24, 28 and 31 in the Talley Student Center on the NC State University campus. Parents and other family members enjoyed refreshments while talking with representatives from the College of Engineering.

The reception was a part of the Parents' Orientation program, which is coordinated by Parents and Families Services ( www.ncsu.edu/for_parents).

Dr. Mohammad Noori (right), head of mechanical and aerospace engineering, greets Ana Maria and Gabriel Lugo and their son, Miguel. Miguel’s older brother, Rafael, is an incoming freshman interested in aerospace engineering. Noori’s son, Hooman, also an incoming freshman, plans to go into mechanical engineering.
