A team of computer science students from North Carolina State University has devised the first tool to help software developers improve a new privacy program for IBM. As part of their eCommerce practicum class in spring 2003, the students created Privacy Authoring Editor, a component of Enterprise Privacy Authorization Language, an IBM product. Instructors for the course were Dr. Laurie A. Williams, assistant professor of computer science, and Dr. Julia B. Earp, assistant professor of business management.
