The Portland Alumni Club will hold its 10th annual "Return to Raleigh" picnic on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Raleigh Hills Park at 3500 SW 78th Ave. in Portland, Ore. The menu will include eastern North Carolina barbecue, fried chicken and plenty of sides.
Featured guests will be Nino Masnari, dean of the College of Engineering, and Astra Barnes '03, the Alumni Association's director of clubs and outreach.
The registration deadline is July 28.
