Many of NC State’s most highly sought-after incoming students will study in the College of Engineering.
Sixteen of the 50 Park Scholarship recipients for fall 2008 — 32 percent — plan to major in Engineering or Computer Science. The College of Engineering has more incoming Park Scholars than any other College at NC State.
The Park Scholarship is one of the most prestigious undergraduate scholarships in the nation. The scholarship, valued at $59,000 for North Carolina residents and $107,000 for out-of-state students, pays expenses for four years of study at NC State, a computer stipend, and funds for academic enrichment activities.
