North Carolina State University's College of Engineering will host an Open House on April 20th from 9 a.m. until noon. Registration will take place under the north portico of Burlington Laboratories. The event is expected to attract people from across North Carolina.
Students and faculty will be on hand to explain to high school students, parents, and teachers the curriculum options offered by the engineering program at NC State. General information about entrance requirements, scholarships and NC State's academic and student life will also be available.
The event will include tours and high-tech demonstrations in the computer science, electrical engineering, nuclear engineering, industrial engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and other departments. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a nuclear reactor first-hand and to participate in question and answer sessions. Literature regarding specific engineering programs will be available.
