Engineering Holds Open House March 29
— Entire Engineering College Open for Tours, Displays, Information Sessions

Registration is outside of Burlington Labs.

The College of Engineering at North Carolina State University is pleased to invite the public to the Engineering Open House on Saturday, March 29, 2003, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Media attendance is welcome.

All Engineering departments will participate with information, materials and demonstrations. The planned activities include:

• Materials Science & Engineering demonstration of electron microscopes, mechanical testing of materials and atmospheric plasma deposition, 232 Riddick Hall and Burlington Courtyard
• Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering demonstration of Wolfpack Motorsports, 3211 Broughton Hall
• Civil Engineering demonstrations of computerized traffic-flow simulations, concrete-canoe racing and construction of steel bridges, portico of Mann Hall
• Electrical & Computer Engineering demonstrations of senior design projects, optical breadboards and medical instrumentation, 214 Daniels Hall.
• Industrial Engineering demonstration of rapid prototyping and manufacturing, computer numerical control machining, other activities, Park Shops.
