Exxon Mobil Corporation has awarded a total of $25,000 in grants to the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University. Representatives from ExxonMobil presented a check for $18,000 to Dr. Louis Martin-Vega, dean of the College of Engineering, on October 1, and a check for $7,000 to Dr. Tony Mitchell, assistant dean and director of minority engineering programs in the College of Engineering, on October 2.
The unrestricted grants will support various educational activities, including scholarships, field trips, visiting speakers, equipment purchases, student and faculty travel to academic-related activities and other educational projects.
