Engineers' Week 2003
The Engineers’ Council and engineering student organizations at NC State
University are pleased to announce that Engineers' Week will be held at NC State
from Sunday, February 16, through Friday, February 21. Engineers’
Week is a national, annual celebration of engineering. The following activities
have been planned for this year’s event (Editor's Note: Because of
bad weather, some events have been rescheduled through February 23. Please go
to the Engineers' Council website at www.engr.ncsu.edu/e-council
for the revised schedule.)

Presentation by Dr. Donald Bitzer, coinventor of the plasma screen, on plasma
screen technology, 7:00 PM, Riddick 11, free movie (must obtain voucher from
earlier event)

Barbecue Lunch on Engineers' Row
- All Week
There will be Penny Wars between departments — proceeds will benefit
the Make-A-Wish Foundation. There also will be random prizes given at
the events for engineering students.
