Bullard Wins Faculty Adviser Award

Dr. Lisa Bullard, lecturer and director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University, is the 2008 winner of the NC State Faculty Adviser Award.

The award is given to an adviser whose primary responsibility is as a teaching/researching faculty member and who shows “a strong commitment to student success through availability to advisees, commitment to guiding students in career and academic paths, and awareness of policies and procedures."

The Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs established the Undergraduate Academic Advising Awards in 2002 to recognize the accomplishments and commitment of those dedicated to helping students succeed through academic advising.

Provost Larry Nielsen presented Bullard with the award at a luncheon ceremony on May 1st.
