Brain Rejoins Department of Computer Science

Marshall Brain, founder of the popular How Stuff Works website (http://www.howstuffworks.com), has been appointed part-time visiting lecturer and assistant to the department head of computer science. The appointment is effective April 1, 2003.

Brain served as visiting instructor in the Department of Computer Science from August 1989 through June 1992. He is a member of the NC State University Academy of Outstanding Teachers. Brain received his master’s degree in computer science from NC State in 1989.
