NC State Ranks Number One Best Buy in Engineering Online Degrees

GetEducated.com, LLC, a consumer-oriented online degree clearinghouse, has ranked North Carolina State University’s online Master of Engineering and Master of Civil Engineering degrees as the number one best buy in the nation for online engineering education.

The rankings are based on a survey of publicly posted tuition rates of 56 distance learning master’s in engineering programs offered by regionally accredited universities in the US conducted by GetEducated.com in fall 2004. For North Carolina residents, tuition for an online engineering master’s degree at NC State is just $5,280, making it the lowest cost engineering master’s degree available online in the US. The GetEducated.com survey revealed that costs for online master’s degrees range from NC State’s $5,280 up to $67,500 for an online master’s degree in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
