ASCE Student Contests To Be Held at NC State

The NC State University student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will sponsor a regional contest this weekend involving ASCE student chapters from various universities in the Carolinas.  A concrete canoe race will be held Friday, April 4, all day at Lake Crabtree in Raleigh.  Competitions on Saturday morning, April 5, at the Constructed Facilities Laboratory and the Engineering Graduate Research Center (EGRC) on Centennial Campus at NC State will include balsa wood and steel bridge competitions. The media and the public are invited to attend.
