Dr. Fred R. DeJarnette, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and director of the NC Space Grant Consortium, and Dr. Andre P. Mazzoleni, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, will discuss space exploration Tuesday, November 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Zely and Ritz on 301 Glenwood Avenue. The discussion will begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a question and answer session.
Their presentation, “Human Space Flight: Return to the Moon and Mission to Mars,” is part of a discussion series called Science Café that is hosted by local Triangle Sigma Xi chapters and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Held in coffee shops, bars and restaurants around Raleigh, the monthly series is intended to promote discussion of science in a community setting.
