July and August "Pride of the Wolfpack Award" winners in the College of Engineering are Martha Brinson, Fran Coats, Sandra Dugan and Susan Peaslee.
An NC State alumna and 25-year employee of the Dean’s Office, Brinson, director of communication, recently completed a series of arduous projects to better organize the college’s communications efforts.
Coats, who has been employed at NC State 25 years and who served as assistant to the Dean of Engineering through September 2006, is widely respected for her competent and effective administration of the office and her welcoming manner.
Dugan, Human Resources manager in the Industrial Extension Service, has played a key roll in the recent hiring of 11 new account managers. Her effort involved interviews in Raleigh, Williamston, Dobson, Salisbury and Charlotte.
Peaslee, accounting tech in the Department of Computer Science, recently processed approximately 50 travel reimbursements for grant-related events in addition to her regular workload. These reimbursements were complicated because those being reimbursed often were not familiar with NC State rules.
