Shell Donates $45,000 to Chemical Engineering

Shell Oil Company Foundation has donated $45,000 to the Department of Chemical Engineering at NC State University. The bulk of the gift, $30,000, will be directed to a joint industry research project, “Basic Principles and Control of Crude Oil Emulsion Formation.” The remaining $15,000 is an unrestricted departmental gift.

Dean Nino A. Masnari said, "We greatly appreciate the support that Shell Oil Company Foundation has shown the Department of Chemical Engineering. This support will enhance the department’s current programs and provide many new opportunities."
