Robinson to Endow $25,000 to Civil Engineering

James M. Robinson (BSCE ’74 and MCE ’76) of Jacksonville, FL, principal of King + Robinson, has contributed $25,000 to establish an endowment for the Department of Civil Engineering at NC State.  This endowment will provide unrestricted support for civil engineering.

Dean Nino A. Masnari said of the gift, “Unrestricted support is of utmost importance to the success of the College because it allows us to address needs not supported through other means.  Student recruitment, faculty and staff development, scholarship support — all are areas that benefit as a result of these critical dollars.”

The funds will be administered through the NC State Engineering Foundation, Inc.
