Several representatives from the company visited NC State to meet their scholarship recipients April 19. Fifteen scholars from the College of Engineering and two scholars from PAMS attended the event. Representing Duke Energy were E. O. Ferrell, vice president of power delivery in the northern region; Kay Saville, executive director of the Duke Energy Foundation; Gayle Long, manager of staffing; Bill Hodges, manager of workstations services; and Jayne Vernon, assistant engineer. The event was sponsored by Duke Energy.
