Alcoa Awards $27,500 Grant to Engineering’s WISE Program

Alcoa has awarded a $27,500 grant to the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University to support the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Living and Learning Together program. The WISE Village gives first- and second-year women majoring in mathematics, statistics, science or engineering at NC State an opportunity to live and study with others who share their common interests.

Dean Nino A. Masnari said, “We greatly appreciate Alcoa’s continued support in helping us recruit and retain women in engineering.”
